Akhilesh Yadav: UP bypolls win is for the Dalits and weaker sections of the society
Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav said on Thursday, "Uttar Pradesh bypolls win is for the Dalits and weaker sections of the society."
Lucknow: After winning the two Lok Sabha seats in Gorakhpur and Phulpur, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav here on Thursday said that the winning of the UP bypolls is the win for the Dalits and weaker sections of the society.
Here are the some main points:
1. This victory would have been tremendous had there been no tampering with the EVMs earlier.
2. We do not believe in meeting as much as we believe in running the 'cycle' for the welfare of the country.
3. Our relations with Congress will continue to be as it is, there is a still lot to be done for the country.
4. We in Samajwadi Party follow a culture of respecting everyone.
5. Gorakhpur lost children, mothers are pained and so are farmers. SP began constructing hospitals. There was politics over children dying.
6. People have voted in large numbers and this helped us win the UP bypolls.
7. Lotus cannot blossom in Phulpur this time.
